On the bowl, it says Gang(康 well, peace) and Nyung(寜 well,peace), reading right to left, wishing peace and wellness. The pomegranates look spiky and rather posh but the painting has a motherly message to the viewer. These blue Soquado series were done to play with the various blue tones in traditional pigments.
